We are largely based in the North West, but we travel worldwide for our work and regularly perform up and down the country - we’ve been booked everywhere from Runcorn to Rome (literally!).

Every package has different needs, as do some events. But we are capable of providing everything from the PA, DJ setup, to the lighting and more. We can even manage our own sound for most events. If you’re unsure of what you’ll need, let us know your event type, package of interest and guest numbers when you enquire, and we can help you decide the best fit.

With over 15+ years of performance history, we’ve been asked to cover all kind of genres and styles. Our experience, knowledge, high skill level and can-do attitude, means we can put together numerous acts of the highest level to cover all kinds of events in varied styles. In fact, as creatives, we love the challenge, and the variation of our packages and clients keeps us excited to perform at every event!

Due to our flexibility and specialist team we’re in high demand. Once our musicians are booked, we’re booked, and we can no longer offer the date. For the best chance of booking with us we urge you to enquire a year in advance. If your date is sooner than that, it’s still worth enquiring, we may have some availability, and if not we can always recommend someone trustworthy from our fab network of friends.

Unlike with agents and other acts, we’ll always try to ensure you have our lead team as seen in the media. If for some reason we can only offer a lead deputy on your date at the time of booking, ie. our lead is already booked out, we’ll let you know before you book, so you’ll know what you’re getting.

In short, no. Our contracts are the same as an agency’s, and once you’re booked and confirmed we have all the same requirements to you, and you to us. Agencies do have a huge roster of acts, so that if one pulls out they can cover with another act, but often you’ll be left with a choice of acts that you didn’t originally want. Here at Schmooze we always ensure one of our trusted deps can step in if there’s an emergency, like for like, so your package stays the same, at the same high quality.

We’ve done lots behind the scenes to ensure your event can run smoothly even in the event of an emergency. Both you, the client, and us, the booking party, are covered in case of force majeure. This is all discussed in the booking contract we will send through at the time of the booking, but should you have any questions you can always speak to us directly and we’ll be happy to help.
